Hi Everybody,
While this tribe is relatively small, people are still able to surf around Tribe.net and check things out so I wanted to post a little info so there is no misunderstanding.
*I am doing this project out of my love for the dance and music of Brazil and want to share what I've learned. During the rest of the year I do not teach but rather take lots of classes.
I study with Maisa Duke and occasionally perform with her group, Energia do Samba (including this year's Carnaval in SF).
Some people might have thought that because of this, Maisa is in some way connected to Burning Man or my little pet project here.
Truth is, she has a very busy performance and teaching schedule and is NOT connected to the Burning Samba tribe.
For those of you familiar with Burning Man, this is all for free and volunteer so I would not attach any assumptions with a professional group in San Francisco.
OK... that said... On with the planning and I'll see you all out in the desert in a few weeks!
